Auto Generate Internal References for Clients
When setting up a ne client, have an option to Auto generate an reference.
Have a couple of option, First 4 letters the 3 numbers, or Partner initials and a 3 digit number.
I agree with this please. OR, have the internal reference data field check against previously used entries in order that there cannot be a duplicate. Currently, this field accepts data that is not unique and could be used on numerous clients. Ideally have an auto generate feature like the OP outlines :)
