It would be extremely helpful to have a Global Document Library within Bright Manager.
At the moment, if we want to share a standard document (for example payroll forms, brochures, guidance notes, etc.), we have to upload the same document individually to each client record.
For example:
I recently needed to send our monthly manual payroll forms to all payroll clients. These will eventually be automated, but for now they are standard documents used across multiple clients.
Help chat advised that I would need to upload the document separately to each individual payroll client, which is very time consuming.
What would be helpful:
• A central “Global Documents” area within the practice
• Ability to upload a document once
• Option to assign it to:
– All clients
– A specific client group (e.g. Payroll clients, VAT clients, Ltd companies)
– Selected individual clients
Even better:
• If the document is updated, the new version automatically replaces the previous version across all assigned clients
• Version control so we can track updates
• Optional client visibility toggle (internal only vs visible to client)
This would save significant admin time and reduce the risk of uploading outdated documents to some clients but not others.
