We regularly work with clients who have multiple companies alongside personal tax affairs, and it is common for them to use different email addresses for each entity.
Currently, BrightManager requires a single email address per linked client record. This creates a significant limitation, as using different email addresses forces us to either unlink records or duplicate client profiles.
As a result, this leads to:
Duplication of client records
Manual inefficiencies and delays in client management
Increased risk of errors
Incorrect audit trails, where emails and invoices are linked to the wrong entity/email address
A confusing experience for clients managing multiple businesses
Suggested improvement:
Enable multiple email addresses to be associated with a single client record, with the ability to assign a specific email address per entity or engagement while maintaining a unified client profile.
This would better reflect real-world client structures and significantly improve usability, accuracy, and efficiency.
