Tracking client wealth is something of growing importance, for purposes of AML due diligence AND IHT and CGT. It can create opportunities and open up lines of communications with clients that might ordinarily get missed.
I am preparing personal balance sheet spreadsheets for clients and would love a feature like this to be a possible form to be completed each year, to be able to track client wealth and sources of funds etc.
I know we can create custom fields to track this information, but perhaps something that can create a nice PDF at the end and save it with a date stamp, like the risk assessment form, this would be superb!
I am aware that as Accountants, we cannot usually give financial advice, but it does open up to encourage clients to get financial advice, along with our expertise regarding tax planning.
