It would be great to be able to see if a client has downloaded a document
On our previous document repository system, we could see when a client had downloaded a document as a field on the same page and would know that they had at least acknowledged it's existence. Helps with chasing signoffs and client engagement.
One of the market competitors offers a solution where the actual PDFs stored in the cloud are updated with an audit log showing times when the client read, downloaded, signed or rejected a given document. We can see if clients read our email on the timeline, but we cannot see if they read the most important documents we produce for them.
