Hi there,
Currently, workflow details description fields have a character limit of 255 characters. Sometimes, some users need more.... Working in an accounting practice can be a confusing for some just like me, whom need to have it explained to them like they are a dog or a four years old who'd rather eat crayons.
But the issue is that when you go over that imposed character limit when creating highly detailed workflows, the system does not let you save workflows and one is left wondering and confused as there are no clues as to why the save button does not work. So, in order to help the wretched ones among us, could you please apply either one of the following suggestions? :-)
Increase the character limits allowed and extend it to the workflow details description fields
Or cut out the text copied or typed so that users can understand that they are too verbose. This already happens for subtasks description fields which is helpful
Or add an error message when saving with something along the lines of “the workflow cannot be saved because you have reached the characters limit in such and such field
Or a combination of any of the above
Many thanks,
David M
