At the moment when you filter by staff it will include tasks where the assignee is someone else, but keeps on the task list because of who the client manger is, the task list should be able to filter by assignee if thats the case we need to be able to see just the individuals job list or it is too cluttered

Agreed with your idea and voted for it. And for those of us who use workflows, this idea should be extended to workflows too. Only tasks assigned to staff members and tasks with subtasks assigned to staff members should appear in the user's tasks list. Once the task or all the subtasks on a task have been completed, the task should disappear EVEN IF the staff member is the client manager
