Improve email format in BrightManager

When I see an email sent from BM come into outlook it looks very unprofessional. There is an awful lot of spacing for some reason and when replying or forwarding an email from within BM the same happens, blank lines added in and new lines created e.g on a canned message I have for some reason the "Kind Regards" part shows as kind on one line and regards on another if the email is forwarded. Also sizing of signatures used in BM is lost and is gigantic when you see it in outlook.

Agreed, would be great to have focus on this to allow the feature to be useable.

Totally agree - too spaced out which resulted in us not using it

I agree. Dodgy font rendering in Bright Manager is a long-standing issue. When I pointed it out to the support team after we signed up, I was effectively explained as if it was a feature, not a fault and if it does not work as expected, it is because we use it wrong way.

To the left, you have BM email message written in Arial 10px, to the right you have Arial 10px in Outlook. It looks different.

Messages sent through BM are actually showing up at the other end in Segoe UI (or Open Sans, whatever), even though BM does not offer this font as an option and my Outlook account is set dead on Arial as a default font for composing emails.

The editor tends to be a bit messy too. Headers are using Museo Sans font.

Default paragraph font colour is #414141. I want it plain black, not close to black. Changes have always to be applied to all the email templates and you have to ensure you stay on top of correct message formatting when you are writing an email in a hurry. There should be global settings for this sort of things and the editor should not make things look so messy. And the editor at the bulk part works, but when you look into the details, it is abysmal at best, as pointed out by Judith.

The point is, we work in accountancy and do not have time to be full time custodians of correct email formatting. This should just work without us having to think about it even for a fraction of a second.
