Currently, if you're using a canned email, you not only need to pause the email while you're amending it, but then you need to update the "pause" and go back in to edit. If you don't do that, after about 10 minutes, Bright will automatically send the email, even if you're still working on it, and ignores the fact that it's paused. The result is my client receives an un-edited canned email which by its very nature contains generic phrasing not specific to anyone.
I have no idea why canned emails are sent automatically. There is never an occasion where this would be needed.
