An option to prevent the automatic email generated when document uploaded

In most cases I am deleting the automatic emails produced when uploading documents to be signed by a client, as I instead send a canned email with more information. Could we please have an option to remove this feature added?

Emails stay under client when deleted from Email Manager

Is there anyway that the emails can stay until the client but be deleted from email Manager ? At present if an email is deleted from Email Manager it is also deleted from the Clients timeline.
